We can set up your business on our Boogles Bookkeeping / accounts software. We have Boogles ExBooks - which is excel based and suitable for small businesses, with limited transactions, owners drawings, cash VAT, income and expenses. It can run on a MAC or a PC. The cost is £52 plus VAT, and the BasicBook system will operate for 13 months from purchase. (It's basically £1 per week). If you use it to do your bookkeeping for your financial year, then we can offer you a special rate (£599 plus VAT) to prepare your year-end accounts.

What can we do for you?
We are happy to work with whatever you work with, or to recommend a suitable accounts software for you. If your accounting activity is minimal, than an accounts package may not even be necessary at all, and we can set you up on an accounting excel template.
We have a Practising Certificate from the Institute of Certified Book-keepers (ICB) to provide bookkeeping services. We are regulated by them.

The main difference between Quick Books Simple Start and Quick Books Pro, is that in Quick Books Simple Start, you cannot enter a bill which hasn't yet been paid, whereas in Quick Books Pro, you can.
This means that if you run VAT on a standard method (you pay the VAT to the HMRC before you've paid the bill), then Pro would be a better choice for you. And remember that if you have LOTS of outstanding / unpaid supplier bills - then Pro will probably be a better choice, because you'll be able to see these in the system on Pro, whereas you won't in Simple Start.
